Can see the reason behind this,but feel you needed to get a tad nearer while making the profile of the vase bigger but keeping the trees as a important part of the shot...Brian

The composition is very nice, and centering it was the perfect choice. My suggestion would be to lighten the trees along the path so we can appreciate the leaves because you statue is so far away we need to enjoy the walk too.

I love images with paths and roads, this is so beautiful, I love the trees framing this path, love the way the path leads us into this scene and the diminishing perspective!this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. I like that large vase at the end of the path and I see a person about 3/4 of the way down off the path on the right. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Really nice Composition, as soon as you look at the photo your eye goes to the top and center makes wonder what it is? Of which you explained. Real nice work, lighting right on as well as focus. Thanks for sharing, and good luck in the contest

a very good entry to the pointbof view contest with this tree-lined path leading to the vase in the bg; good central framing with sharp focus and dof;
the vase is a tad tilted to the left;

A very nice perspective. The tree lined path is well captured and the vase in the opening at the end is fantastic. I like the colors and the excellent composition. Best wishes in the contest.

Nicely captured. I like the colors and the tones. The lightened road is very nice and the overall sharpness is good. The exposure is also very nice. Good work.

A beautiful picture of this tree lined avenue leading up to the stone vase on a pedestal on the Chatsworth estate in Derbyshire home to the Duke of Devonshire & the Cavendish family. Beautiful atmospheric composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
