This lovely photo deserves to be at least in the recognized folder. There you go! It's a pleasure to review a talented work! I love the contrast between the coold blue water and warm yellowish autumn colors. Perfectly cropped and adjusted! Perfect composition! The image gives me a lot of memories of visiting simular places. Sorry for not having the extra sparkle to award this beautiful photo as I should! Have a great day!!!

A gorgeous waterfall with an artistic composition and I love the movement captured in this scene. Good foreground interest and beautifully framed. It's one of those scenes you can hear and feel the landscape as well as see it's beauty. Very well photographed with good light, and wonderful details and a good depth of field. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

I like how you captured the water. The fall looks like a veil. The mist below emphasises the motion. The photo has good depth and nice realistic colors. The textures of the rock formation abd plants are defined and interesting. The composition is thought out and balanced.

This is a wonderful shot of nature. And that of the graceful waterfalls! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

This is a beautiful photo. The season and the timing if this photo is what makes it great. The colors and the sharpness in quality make it stand out. (Unrelated note: I live just a state over in PA and we have a town called Tunkhannock, and the name of this waterfall reminds me of that!)

Many thanks for the nice review and your interesting side note! One theory is the name Taughannock refers to a Lenin Lenape(Delaware) chef by that name that died near the falls during a battle, and I discovered that Tunkhannock was a Delaware Indian village from 1749-1758! :) LeeAnn

Beautifully captured waterfall. Your slow shutter speed allows just enough flow in the water to hold it together without making is a veil of water, so you still have the rough texture of the falling water. I like seeing the full falls and the rock and surrounding area making this a more complete image. Good details, good color. Thank yo for sharing.

Thanks so much! Actually, there wasn?t a lot of water going over when I shot this;I was there one July and there was only a trickle coming down, that was pretty disappointing, esp. for wanting to get some nice pictures of the falls!

Cool,LeeAnn! : )
That's a fine looking picture of an interesting ( and some might say 'magical'! ) area 'out Ithaca way' that you've presented us with here,my friend!
'Good Show'! : )

Thanks for the nice review,Sean! Yes,this is a really great falls to visit anytime of the year,I went there in July the year I got a digital camera, hoping to get some great shots-it had been a dry summer and there was only a trickle of water going over, quite a disappointment! :) LeeAnn

Excellent rendition! My husband and I traveled from Buffalo to the Falls in order to see it.Your depth perspective is outstanding. With the autumn colored leaves on the tree,to the left, the splashing of water, beneath the Falls, running forward;and, your enhanced blues, this is lovely.
Cordially,
