I like this for what it is. I had a 'difficult' childhood sans fairy stories etc, so love them as an adult. When I had chidlren, I read them endless stories and bought them a book every Thursday when I went to the market. There he sits on his leaf thinking what his next spring will be, just like our Ministries and Human Research creatures!

I love frogs! Several years ago Someone told me that frogs are special reminders, the letters FROG, stand for Fully Rely On God, ever since I heard that I have loved frogs , I also used to catch frogs when I was a little girl. This one is very well created with good shape and structure, I love his face and his eye, he is sitting there on the lily pad and I see the beautiful lily beside him. I like the way you show the sparkles on the water behind the lily pad. This is very well arranged and the colors are well chosen and applied. Well presented! I wish you the best in the contest!

Thank you for reviewing... appreciated... I also had difficulties handling water colours but now I enjoy them. I don't much make the waterwash type. Dont have much luck with them.

Two of my favorite subjects in one mini. Great use of space. Love the colors you chose. The eye really moves around the canvas. Great viewer interaction. The expression of the frog makes it look as if he might jump off the page.
