A beautiful colourful rendition with a bit of fun added. I gave up counting. Do you know how many eggs? We too made Easter eggs as you described when we were kids.
It has a great patchwork effect. Would make a beautiful throw or bedcover also. I love all the different patterns as well as the colours. Well done and good luck.

thank you. Everyone imagines ALL English are wealthy. In fact, when I first came to England, I lived in the poorest part ofcourse and some of the poor there were poorer than we. Because my dad was from a farming family back home, what little he earned he spent on an allotment and grew all our food, and salads in the back garden and my mum was an absolutely fabulous cook /I am not/. She stayed at home to care for us, which is what my dad wanted, and having learnt to cook from her mother who had been a lady's maid in Austria after her grandfather /also a farmer in the Wachau/ died young and my other Gt grandmother was head cook at the nearby big house in Hungary. I always loved Easter when my kids were young. Did you count?

I tried came to 25 but some could have been guesses. My grandmother was a ladies made then a nurse in the win the great war. I love to hear about other people and their ancestory. So many interesting stories, sad, painful but there must be happiness also, thats life

I too come from that age when Easter Eggs were ACTUALLY Eggs..I think I counted eight on the cloth. A very beautiful & imaginative composition, painted in your unique style. Beautiful choice of colours & shapes in the bringing this scene to life. Good luck in the contest.

thank you. It was a very large sheet of paper, so it was difficult to keep on top of the number, I followed the pattern rather than the numbers!
