The water is so nice an blue, it must have been a clear day. You got a very nice closeup. His expression looks to me like he's thinking 'hey - a little privacy please - I'm taking a bath!".

Pure joy! Had no idea otters were THIS large. Is that a fish leaping over his left foot? Position of the otter is great because I can see his face. The pretty blue water looks swift and cold. Another Alaska gem with your photographic skills.

This is how they generally sleep and eat on their backs in the water.

They sound huge! Much bigger than the Florida river otters.

What a cute animal. Its face reminds of an old man with a mustache. The otter seems very comfortable doing the back-stroke effortlessly. I like how the water splashes on its flippers. The light reflections are intriguing. I admire the realistic colors. The photo is well focused, showing crisp detail through. The diagonal placement of the animal is eye-pleasing.
