This is an intriguing shot, not your typical sunset.A moody feel. I like the tree as a central focal point, but I am mixed on having it in the cloud, That really changes the look of the tree. Nice clouds, very nice distant mountains. Interesting colors. good focus. Well done and well seen.

Beautiful photo, my friend! I love how the sky is layered and using that tree as a filter was a smart idea. Beautiful colors and a great photo. Thanks for sharing!

Paul,
A beautiful mountain sunset picture with the sun glowing gold behind the tree in the foreground & under the dark clouds the mountain ridges adding interesting shapes & tones of light the still blue sky above the dark clouds are eye catching the piles of snow in the foreground seem to be a mirror image in reverse of the shape of the top of the dark clouds. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus good luck in the contest.
Susan.

This is a beautiful shot Paul. I like how the colors appear to be in layers. White snow at the bottom, gold and tan sunset and mountains, gray clouds, and blue sky. Very nice shot.

Strong visual impact: this is a beautiful sunset as seen from up in the mountains, like the dramatic clouds up high in the sky and the gold from the setting sun, I like your up high perspective looking down and out! This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented!
