An excellent timed shot,this heron does indeed appear to be dancing on it's toes across the top of the water,seeming to balance itself with the lovely outstretched wings. Beautiful focus and lighting,it is well composed and presented,another marvelous photo!

whips feathers add charm and character.
Only thing that I can see would have made this photo any better would be if a reflection was caught below!
