Linda, this is absolutely incredible! As a person who works in graphite, I know how difficult it is to get the shading and highlights. Magnificent work!

I came across this drawing in the recognized portion of fan art review and couldn't help but share it to my son because hes also an artist along with myself and your passion for our Savior stopped me to write this review because it is so outstanding. What a way to show your love for Him on this past Easter. The drawing is flawless. It's perfect! Just like you. I too and my son are firm believers in our Heavenly Father. What a price He paid for us. Thank you so much for the moment of spirituality you gave me by posting this idea of your take on what Jesus looks like. I truly had the Holy Spirit present while viewing this and it was a pleasure writing this review and you deserve that 6 star by far. Good luck in future contest and bless you my dear fellow sister in Christ.

This drawing is stunning. I am sorry I did not catch this one during Easter, but I still had to comment on it. I love your biblical portraits of Jesus. You always do such a beautiful job and this one is no different. There really isn't even much else to say lol. This is just one of those art pieces that leaves you speechless. Thank you for sharing this drawing with us and of course this message. :)

Your work is breathtaking. There is so much impressive emotion in this image. I really like how you angled the face and that His eyes are cast downward. Beautifully realistic and poignant work.

So beautifully sketched Linda of our Savior who died for us on the cross. It's a powerful and dynamic drawing. Your sketch so skill fully created with blending and shading of pencil. Your play with light and shadows and your artistic composition adds to this realistic drawing. Good facial features and facial proportions. Thanking for sharing your beautiful work with us. Easter a rebirth and time for remembrance. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Cyber 10

Dear Stringbean, don't thank me. Thank Jesus. I prayed for months for an image that would glorify our Savior. This is it. He does His work to bring the lost to salvation. I thank you for your wonderful recognition of the work that has been done.

Beautiful image. A wonder image to meditate on. Although pierced with thorns he remains silent.
Just an observation, the depictions of Our Lord's sacrifice are often sanitized. They do not show the blood and torn flesh that was the reality that Jesus endured. I refer you to the book "Verdict on the Shroud" this book describes in detail the brutality that the Roman's inflicted on Our Lord. I would hope that with your talent, that sometime in the near future you might create an image that depicts the unsanitized truth of Jesus's suffering for you and me.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I saw Passion of The Christ, it was graphic. Our Lord was beaten to a pulp.
