scintilating colours and fiery image of a corn field in India that I can go with. Although it is heightened, we can see the sun beating down making everything glow with hear and fire. The shadows of a bright blue and pink were at first a surprise but after a while you get used to them. Our brains are so attuned to light blue for skies, bright blue for water etc and it really is not so. I often paint by what remains in my mind afterwards. I have never been to south India, but imagine it to be rather like this. We had a photographer on FAR from Sri Lanka who used to send in photos of the countryside. The fields were bordered by bright green Eucapyptus trees, but that was Sri Lanka not India.

typo sorry, heat and fire.... it is how we imagine India in the northern hemisphere, though it is very lush and green in places

This is a really bold piece. I applaud your use of color. I think I am a chicken. your have manage to create depth and perspective with same play of the same colors and the same brush strokes. Taking lessons here. Thanks so much for sharing this. Great work.

Wonderful colour in use here and the layering is really good with nice depth. I lie the touch in certain areas of cooler colours to balance out the strength of the warmer colours here. Good job

Very cool and I love the flow in the strokes. The shading is excellent (as always). The depth is excellent (ditto)..lol..the blend of the colors is just awesome. You did the perfect blend to create the mood. Strong initial impact on the viewers eye. The creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and awesome work overall (clapping)

The oranges and yellows in this landscape make me think of Autumn. The brushstrokes in the foreground make a nice variety of grasses and I like the look of the color blending.
