You've got all the fixings for a bit of escargot there. A very fine shot with great color in the blossom and nice detail in the snail. The composition is very good and i like the dark background.

It must have been quite a climb for this little snail to reach the top of this flower, because they are pretty tall. Have them in my garden as well, but they have not come out yet. The light is falling so lovely on the flower and shell, and with the dark background it is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The flower is in sharp focus, but the snail shell is a bit blurred. It is however nothing wrong with the exposure.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the flower is well placed a bit off to the left. A lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

You have that special eye discovering any kind of special situation - super capture , well framed - I love the light and shadow in this shot as it lets the flower head so well stand out - your picture is clear and sharp as always - great color saturation - the snake on a flower head is just awesome - well seen, well done

Well, this certainly makes for an interesting photo. The focus is nice your composition is very nice, And your color is very nice but, this nail is not nice. LOL. I also noticed that your background is blurred and his dog see how it makes your flower pop out, that's very nice, but this nail still is not nice

Wow, I don't know that I have ever seen a snail on a flower like this, just hanging out! He has a nice patterned and colored shell. Looks like the focus jumped to the edge of the flower. The flower itself is nice too. Really unique shot.

Beautiful color rendition, the black background brings emphasis to the flower bloom and snail. The depth of field however is so shallow as to have a portion of the flower in front somewhat out of focus, whereas the circumference of the bloom is tack sharp. The position of the flower is good in the image. again you amaze me with the unexpected. I have never seen a snail on a bloom. Interesting image.
