Another nice stop action shot, this time the heron is leaving the area, I like the position of the wings again and appreciate the feet and the clear detail in his near wing, he is well placed within the frame leaving room to move into, the composition is good and allows a sense of this location. Well presented!

Oh! Wow! What a smashing shot. Perfect flight mode in hovering or take off. Superb background with well focused detail. The bird itself is super. A 6 if I had one. A lovely pic.

The bird is nicely caught in low flight above the water surface. The flight pose is interesting. The body is not stretched out which probably indicates that the bird just started. The capture of the body is soft, but the wing and tail show nicely defined detail. The photo has good depth. The composition is balanced. I also appreciate the natural-realistic colors.

Wonderful wildlife action capture of the Green Heron in flight.
Fine sharp image of the Heron with good depth of field.
Very good angle of view.
Good placement and presentation.
