Beautiful shot of the Cormorant! Your square format works well and your central composition is strong. I think you low perspective aids in your composition. Your play with light and shadows is perfect as well. Since the eye is so sharp just draws us right into your scene. Your lighting, focus and details are incredible. Your diffused background compliments your work. Thanks for sharing.

What an incredible position you have captured as this cormorant is preening, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is perfect, the colors and tones are natural, I especially like the clear details I see over every part of this beautiful bird, love the lavender toned background . Well composed and presented!

Great shot of this Cormorant SF. What a cool capture with that head tucked in and those tail feathers splayed out. Good color rendering of the eye and face. Nice one SF ~ SF

These are such pretty birds. I like the pose you captured and how it shows off his face and his tail feathers. The colors look good with nice detail of the markings.

This is a nice photograph of this neat bird. I like the pose he was giving you. I like the background. I have made several shots of these birds. I have some where he is holding his wings out to dry.
Good job!

A very nice preening position and a great shot that captures the iridescent plumage beautifully. I like the colors and think that if you framed it vertically you would not have clipped his tail.
