I like all that water dripping from this guy's feet as he takes off. His tail feathers are fanned nicely and I seeing the feathers in his wing.

Hey nice action shot there! Not super common to see a bald eagle where I live. Haha. Are they more common in Alaska? Really neat shot, perfect cropping and you left room in the direction he is flying. Just like the advice you gave me;-) Really cool shot!

WOW another virtual 6 star for this stop action shot - you live in a natural paradise,
excellent moment - I love his wing position showing the power he needs to lift up - the water dropping behind says it all
super camera settings , excellent camera technique - excellent framing, well reacted , well done

a great stop action pat with this bald eagle lifting a wake of spray; really taking off? or rather missing a fish?
perfect framing with enough space in front and sharp details;

    Thanks so much Fred, this Eagle was out on the sand at incoming tide,he is flying off because the water rose more then he liked.

This is a fine shot of the eagle taking off!. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Was it really a take off or did he just miss his target meal? Nice clear action shot with good details. I would not want to tangle with those talons. Nice details in the shot. The water makes a good backdrop. Well seen.

    Thank you Charles, actually the Eagle was out on the sand as the tide was coming in, apparently the water got higher then he liked it, so off he went.
