It almost look unreal when green duck weed is covering the water like this, but the ducks seem to like it a lot slurping away. They are probably even standing out better than they would against ordinary water.
The photo is pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the birds, and the exposure is just spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and I like how you managed to keep all the ducks within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Grace, and with an excellent DOF.

It actually reminds me of pea soup just the right colour. The shot itself is a good one, very colourful, and with heads ducking and diving and looking up, quite amusing and a bit of fun. Great focus and use of light, nice central composition.

it looks like they are swimming around in pea Soup-lol-from the color and amt of duckweed.Makes a very interesting color as well as texture background for this octuplet of mallards.Nice tight grouping as well as excellent focus and exposure. A nice enjoyable group shot!
