These are birds that I am not familiar with , they are interesting and I appreciate your informative notes, I like that you captured this trio with two females and the male and I especially like the triangle they form in the tree, they are all well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural, I love that you managed a clear view of the eye on each of these beautiful birds ! Well composed and presented!

Gets me so intrigue at times the way birds all have such different expressions and wonder what they are thinking or looking at. Again strong crisp colour and detail that shines through . Great job

I wonder those things too, about most animals! Thank you for your nice comments :)

It looks as if they pose for you! Did you bribe them? The triangular arrangement is striking. It looks as if they are in a serious conversation. The female left seems to talk to the others. The photo is focused and has good depth. The blue sky emphasizes the group sufficiently. The colors are realistic. The composition is balanced an well framed.

Nicely balanced photo of this male cowbird and his two ladies. Excellent focus, nice catchlight seen in all three birds. They are also notorious for laying their eggs in other birds nests, including warblers!

Thank you! I know, and they aren't very nice about it either!

No they are not! I ended up removing a cowbird nestling from a hooded warblers nest that i was photographing before it had a chance to push out the rightful young.

Most can't get one bird in focus, you get 3! I like the V shape placement of all three. Fine eye clarity on all three, nice focus, great exposure and Great placement within the frame.
I think this is Unique and cool.
Nice work Greenie :-)

Grace,
A beautiful picture of these three. Cowbirds two females & one male. The male &. female in front heads up in the air as if attending to the female looking down on them as if she is about to tell them off. Beautiful blurred blue & Grey's making a perfect backdrop. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Fine observation and a wonderful shot of nature. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Quite a nice nature shot posted here! Your helpful notes make me wonder why eating insects makes these birds notorious? Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Thank you! The fact that they follow cattle to eat the insects that they stir up is the notorious part and how they got the name Cowbirds :)
