Looking up.....a great entry for the contest! Gorgeous portrait of your beautiful granddaughter. I think you did a really nice job capturing an adorable candid. Her eye and the beautiful lighting draw you in since your image is so sharp. I love the inquisitive look on her face and her expression. Lovely expression capture here with good lighting and angle well done. The background works well to make the child pop here. It's is always great when you can capture a different perspective and this child does get you intrigue on what are they seeing , good job

Children have the most wonderful moments of wonder There is no telling what she is seeing, nor is it needed for the picture. There is just this natural sense of "wow" in her face and eyes. The lighting in this shot could have been very effective, but it is misplaced. It highlights her shoulder and neck rather than the beautiful face and the expression there. Lovely child.
