This is a very pretty bird shown off in this great photograph. I think the red on the wings adds so much to the photograph. The contrast is definitely very well apparent as the black bird rests against the gray sky. Good photo overall.

Never heard of, or seen one of these birds before! Wonder where in the world you got this? Your excellent composition allows us a great view of your singing(?) bird! Like that eye, beak and good detail. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. Well done, great photo!

I like this one because of your angle of shot allowing a view of both shoulder patches! Nice timing to capture him as he is calling out, nice upward view making him look powerful! Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural, nice detail in feathers, face and beak, good clear view of his eye! Well composed allowing a good sense of his location up on the tree top! Well presented!
