This painting has all the elements of a western cattle drive--the cowboys on horseback etc. Even though your style is somewhat impressionistic the colors and shading convey place and activity very nicely.

You really did an excellent job on this painting - story telling art - perfect imaginable as a historic moment in time - your use of space is excellent - the distribution in the image well done , I think this is a very harmonious and well balanced painting with perfect fine details and perspective , well done

A classical depiction of a cowboy scene. Reminds me of the cult movie 'Macenna's Gold'. A fine rendering with all the elements that go in to make a cowboy picture. Good luck in the contest!

This is very nice with the rock cliffs in the background, herd of cattle below and the cowboy up on top sitting on his horse looking over everything.
Nice details with a lovely painted sky of soft blue and white clouds.

Thank you so much for your comments. Inspiration and that get up and go feeling is very spasmodic. I can struggle not only with ideas but also satisfaction of what I am doing.
