Steve,You certainly are creating some interesting abstracts! You might think my imagination is crazy but what I see here are two wooden bark people face to face. You can see the upper part of there legs, their belly and part of the chest. The only thing you don't have are knots in the wood for belly buttons. Coming up with a name is not easy. 'Wooden Nymphs of The Forest" is an idea. Thanks for letting us viewers share our thoughts. :o) NAncy

Thank you Nancy. "Wooden Nymphs of the Forest". Cool title. I never would have thought of that. My imagination is not very good so this is a great title. Thank you for your review and comments Nancy ~ Steve

Hi Steve, I could see what I though was there, but had trouble with the title. Hope your abstracts take you on an interesting journey with viewers. It's kind of fun coming up with a name. Regardless of that you imagery is always interesting and fun to view. :o) Nancy

Steve,
If I allow my imagination to wander off on it's own i see the statues of to people standing back to back with a stone wall in the background just above their knees a rainbow is seen both on their legs & on the wall behind. The surface of the statues that were once covered in colourful mosaic are to the most part just the stone beneath. Interesting & puzzling composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Incredible imagery once again from the master of manipulation...

I thought immediately of the name "Bulging at the seams". Just seems appropriate to me.

Love the textures here as if rock formations.

Another great one BFF

I would call it Columns of Eternal Love or perhaps Carriers of Life. The columns have vaguely the shape of a female body, I think. The colors remind of human skin touched by the sun. The mixed media is excellently composed, balanced and framed.

"Columns of Eternal Love". Love it Cleo. Yes these do have a feminine figure to them looking like they are carrying new life. I am not sure what to make of this myself, and that is the beauty of Abstract art.

Thank you so Very much for your Title and Wonderful review with that Extra Sparkle Cleo ~ Steve

While in Mexico I want to be known as "Father of Our Country". Lot of oats to sow but I can hang in there!

Thanks for the Great review Mark. And if you are jealous well don't take it out on me. Maria, Petra, Adriana, Esmerelda and ALL the Others would get really angry ; )

I have no idea how those other folks came up with their titles. To me it looks like a knock kneed lady. I guess that's why it's called abstract art. lol

This is a fascinating creation Steve! I like how it resembles two wrists and palms of hands facing one another with the texture of a combination of stone and wood.

Good initial impact and presentation of this wonderful abstract work. It looks like an old metal piece or old wood......I like how the depth draws us into the middle image. Beautiful lighting, intricate details and patterns captured beautifully. Appears to be an entrance to a cave, or statues facing each other, or an old tree. A creative and talented Abstract art. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.
