Wow! This is a fantastic creation , it's a web and it's got lots of different insects! I see spiders and bugs with wings, even a beautiful dragonfly! This is full of detail and I love the colors you used here too! So much detail filling this page! It's a great entry for the contest and you are right, there are so many teeny tiny little bugs ! I really like what you're doing here. My eye is drawn to the dragonfly and the ant and I don't know if that's really the story you want to tell. The contrast between the spider and everything surrounding it is too low so the eye isn't drawn there. In the future you should consider what the subject is and lay out of the artwork based on the subject. I think the story might have been more accessible to views if the spider was in the middle with a light background and as you went out the background got darker towards the edge and add other bugs around that. This kind of artwork might also lend itself to patterns so you could have the same type of bug in all 4 corners and then maybe a dragonfly above and below and an ant on the left and right. Just some thoughts but overall it's a really nice piece and I love how you did the background!!!
