I think the lighting is very nice in this image. The light accentuates the colors of the leaves and the shadows bring out attractive deeper tones of color. I also like the shapes of the leaves and the pattern of their growth.

I like how these leaves pop against the background and the their shapes are really sharp and well defined,they resemble the leaves on the fox grape vines we have here in New York State.This would make a great vertical image also.Wish you all the best in the contest with this entry!

I really like the Dappled sun light and the way the shadows and light play on the unique large green leaves. Beautiful capture, fine focus and lovely use of natural light.
Do you know what kind of tree it was? I have never seen leaves with that shape.

The leaves do not belong to a tree, but to a vine hanging down from a tree. I am currently searching for the kind of vine.
