I have never heard of these flowers before. It is an interesting mix which turned out some pretty looking blooms. The colors look good in this shot and the lighting accentuates the center flowers nicely.

A very nice shot. The colors are fantastic and I like the cropping. It might be nice to include something that would provide some sense of proportion as these are probably the largest tulips ever.

A nice eye catching grouping of peony tulips,the colors are very bright,and I like the texturing of the petals,they really do resemble peonies. A beautifully composed image.

Yes Fred again when I first saw the thumbnail I thought this was yours!
I think mainly the letterbox type format which you seem to prefer!
Very nice contrasting light that is not too strong but enough to cast the shadows this give the depth, lovely colours this also give that 3D look and fell to the whole image!
