Didn't know they would eat em . lol. The clarity of is good. The angle of the shot of this chipmunk and orange is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I find Chipmunks to be so ADORBS! Too cute!
The leaning into the orange to eat, the stop action, sharp focus and smooth background along with fine exposure make this a fine capture.
Nice work LeeAnn ;)

Sneaky little guy! He sure is cute and I'm glad he gets to enjoy some of the orange :) I like how you timed the shot to get him having a taste. The pose is very cute with good detail showing.

Thanks Sean,I?m not sure if it is the orange he likes or the oriole spit-lol!

It seems that those guys steel anything eatable if the get their paws on it. You have this cute, little thief excellently captured. Your photo is focused and shows refined detail of textures. The colors are realistic and look good on the dark background. The composition is well balanced and framed.

I put out oranges in the trees to try to lure the orioles into the blooming trees and have found both chipmunks and red bellied woodpeckers generally get there first. A very cute shot with nice composition.

Many thanks,I?ve been wanting to do that, but haven?t had the time,I?m surprised our resident red bellies haven?t discovered the oranges yet.

Oh how cute! We don't have chipmunks here, I have always. Wished we did because they are so cute and I was such a fan of Chip and Dale when I was a kid! You have photographed this little critter well, catching him in the act as he helps himself to the orioles orange! Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural! Well composed and presented!

Thanks so very much, they are indeed cute, but they do get into everything, they particularly enjoy digging into any potted plant i have out on the porch. I will send you some. :)

I wonder if one could survive here?

Ours hibernate during the winter, they spend the rest of the year gathering seeds an nuts for the next winter. And make more chipmunks.
