The bloom is so full and a lovely color, with a bud getting ready to bloom as well. Sounds like a sad time and tough task. I'm glad you found a little cheer in the blooms of these flowers.

Spring arrived late here in Alaska, my neighbors daffodils are just blooming now too and I love them! I like the way you have captured these allowing a good sense of their shape and structure as well as their location and how they grow. These are well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented! I am so sorry for the loss of your mom.
