I have not really seen this flower before, but they probably don't grow in Norway. It is truly lovely and also striking with the rich purple colors and the bright yellow stamens. I also like the green leaves as a background.
The focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the petals and the stamens, and the exposure is very good.
The tight cropping is working well and the flower has a perfect position within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken flower photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

The deep purple against the supporting greenery is just such a winning combination of colors, this is a lovely purple flower with the three petals and the tiny yellow petals in center, I also like the fringe! This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
