I love piers and their different types of construction from metal to wood. This looks to be a very large one with thick girders supporting it. They have photographed quite dynamically and from your perspective, look, of giant proportions .. A good angle chosen to get this effect. The horizon makes a nice balance it's light against the dark structure is very effective.

I love piers and their different types of construction from metal to wood. This looks to be a very large one with thick girders supporting it.
