This is very amusing. These geese are so unusual and interesting looking. I really like the red mask and the black cap. He looks like he just had a bath and the pose is very cute.

I don't believe this is a goose. It looks like a White Muscovy Duck. I like the close up with the turned around look at you.
The wings folded together like a human clasps their hands is very cool.
Nice capture with fine exposure.

At the time I thought this bird had a long neck and that's why I referred to it as a goose.You know your ducks and geese so I'll go with your thoughts. Thanks for straightening me out. I'll look this fellow up. Thanks for the Great Review

This is such an interesting goose! I like it's white feathers and the red around it's eyes! Interesting angle of shot, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented!

It is certainly unusual. I guess we often find humor in the misfortunes of other, but to me this is not obviously funny although I freely admit that my sense of humor is not what it used to be. Best of luck in the contest.

It would have given me great pain if this goose was in any way suffering.I would never post an image where an animal or person was suffering and say it was funny. This goose was just splashing around in the water taking a bath. When he was finished he looked like this. Though you might not find the image amusing that's ok. I just don't want you to think I'm an uncaring person even if you don't know who I am. No hard feelings at all for your thoughts!

Wow!! You really caught his mood!!! Lol.. Great shot!! Like way his wing is spread out.. And that look!!! Lol.. Great job!!! I do know that when the geese we had.. When they got mad their heads went down and they would hiss!! Especially if you walked to close to the nest!!! Lol

At first I thought he was sick. I'm glad he isn't, by the way. He does look like he has been caught doing something wrong. I know it's hard to take photos of things that are white because of blowout, however, I would like to see a bit my light in the photo.

Hi mamamary, I have now put a note in my artist's notes that this bird was not sick. Someone else thought that might have been the case with this bird too and that is far from the truth. Thanks for mentioning that so no one else will believe that is true. I appreciate your note on maybe adding a little more light too. Thanks for stopping by to review!
