Wowow! Dedicated to me? Seriously? I'm flattered! This is so cool, Brenda!!!! I'm sorry I was so busy studying for my math exam and didn't see it until Sange mentioned in today. Now I am sorry for not having any six stars to award this beautiful painting! I just made my own for you Brenda. There you go:
********************!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did you now I love sharks? Lovely colors! I love the composition! Nice green with blue make me feel relaxed. But the shark reminds there's a danger, be aware!!! I have an idea! The shark and I will be the best friends! It already starts smiling!!!! I'm not scared of swimming with my friend in the deep!!! You made my day BRENDA! Thank you so very much!!!!

Glad you like it Lucas, it was a bit of fun. I did have trouble with its face but no heart to dump it as it was part of my sea friends miniature art, then you said if you remember you wanted to see it. So its now your dedication. Hope your math exam was not too difficult and you get good grades. I did wonder where you were.

Kelly thanks for the positive feedback. This was destined for the bin as his face just never looked right. I kept it because it reminds me to keep trying to do better. Lol

Just out of curiosity what has The Kid done to you Brenda ? Did you mean to paint this guy as a friendly / comedy shark Brenda ? lol Very well done. You've captured the funny side of sharks well. Sharks have a sense of humor!! Who knew ?

No way was it painted specially for Lucas he just said he couldn't wait to see it after he had reviewed some of my 'sea friend's ' set of miniature art. This I classed as a failure but because it was so awful I couldn't persuade myself to bin it. Usually i never give up. If something isnt pleasing to me i go back to it and try and improve but this proved impossible. lol

I'm glad that you took my review lightheartedly. I couldn't figure out what the Hell to say about this so I tried a different approach. I hadn't seen The Kid in so long I thought his parents sold him to the Gypsies.

Well it was never my intention to post it until Lucas ages ago mentioned it. So it was a bit of fun to post it. Sometimes i wonder about reviews especially if I am reviewing and i am not sure of a post do I avoid it, or do I concentrate on the artwork that's gone into it. Usually the latter. I seem to get good reviews with the odd stiff critique which I appreciate. Throwing in this big fish was a bit of fun.and I am so pleased with the comments and results so far I am tempted to promote it.

My policy on reviewing is that if I can't give it a five I won't review it. Art is subjective and I don't want anybody getting discouraged by a bad review from me. There are millions of people out there that get their kicks shitting on other people's dreams. I'm not going to be one of them

I agree with art, with photographs I am a novice when it comes to rules etc which you are judged on by true dedicated photo people. I take shots mostly as a guide or reference to my painting but always liked photographing anyway and often looked for out of the box rather than regular as a consequence I did get under 5s but the pointers given were useful. If I did a shot for example with a slanting horizon I would mention it in my notes and this resulted in reviewers taking on my idea. Good chat.

I think Lucas will love that you thought of him and Appreciate this as much as you do. It reminds me of the new species they named Bigeyed sixgill shark. I like the head on view as he swims towards us and the fish swimming along with him.
Nice work Brenda and sweet posting for Lucas ;)

Your review is magnificent in view of this particular piece which I couldn't get right but had no heart to throw it out. It's great that you see something positive in this. Lucas said he was looking forward to seeing it after reviewing the other "sea friends' in the set.
