Funny as soon as I saw this I knew it was yours Anne,you have a unique view of these type of shots and don,t think many people could beat you on these,i like the use of three tulips and the black one adds contrast,nice work...Brian

Wow! You are so right. What a change from closed buds to being open in all their glory.
The colors are so dramatic and dynamic. Of course the "Annie Touch" give the artistic finishing touches. Beautiful.
I will be looking for your final Abstract rendering of their passing.

A gorgeous trio of tulips, very well presented. The colors are magical and the contrast between the two bright blossoms and the one "black" tulip creates a wonderful feeling. Nice sharp focus on the flowers with great detail. Good background. It has the feeling of a painting because of your treatment.

A very nice nature photo posted here with a strange title posted here! Not sure that I have seen a purple tulip before!! Your enjoyable image benefits from being well composed with good exposure and sharpness. Those curved lines in the background stopped me from awarding a 6! Otherwise a beautiful photo!

This composition is dramatic. The emotional impact of almost black Tulip beside the fire colored flowers takes the my breath away. The colors seem to emphasize each other and although they are not opposites they are different as moon lighted night and sunny summer days. The colors of the soft background emphasize the flowers sufficiently. The composition is balanced and well framed. How the flower arrangement curves into the composition is pleasant to the eyes.
