clever statement indeed. There must be reason why you chose the Mall to place your statement on? but it really is very clever. Ofcourse coming from a hot country, shadows have meanings and are useable as part of the whole. I never realised that it matters whether you have signed something or not. The lab st barths human Research staff have cut off the bottom of my water colours where the signature is/and signed their own names. Copyists are thieves and liars, criminals infact so they will happily commit more lies to steal your work. Really good thinking!

This is a clever concept, brilliantly executed. I love the diagonal line which emphasises the shadows, and the crisp, clear no-nonsense lines creating a paradox with the shadows.

I like the idea and that [white and] black humor of yours. As the Juxtapose Shadows on the wall show, the cat owns the shadows and her master. Cats are known for being sorcerers.
Amazing that you draw that one in just one hour. It is a nice, clean drawing. The few details are defined and pointing the characters of man and cat out efficiently. The drawing is also especial well balanced and framed.

Mark,
Tha's brilliant picture of the Gentleman & his Cat & their reversed shadows seen on the wall of the shopping Mall..
Were you drawing it from a Cat's mindset? as it's said Cats have Slaves not masters as Dogs do! Created out of your vivid imagination very skilful draftsmanship & shading in bringing this scene to life.
Good luck in the contest.
Susan

Well, this is all about the message. Which says a lot. The heavy black path actually works to bring the viewer right to the point. I even think the black mall entrance is a good balance and helps to frame the cat owner. The cat shadow's tail has a bit of simian length... but it all comes together.

I saw this on the homepage and liked it immediately. Very cool idea, but the dude looks so grumpy. And he probably needs to stop getting walked because it looks like his back is going to be jacked up when he gets older. :) John
