Funny title! I recall outhouses when I was a kid with moons carved into them. The color saturation in this image brings out the lovely color and texture of the wood.

This is so charming and, shot so well. The textures in the wood show off so well. And, the surrounding greenery really frames it nicely. The light and shadows are the crowning touch. Very nice!

Thanks so much Donna, I loved that they carved the moon and stars on the door.

This is a really neat looking outhouse,i love the weathered gray of the timbers, and that unique crescent moon with the star! It looks so pretty framed by the surrounding foliage.I wish this was on our neighbor's property instead of the dilapidated one that looks like a tree fell on it-so much for privacy-lol!

Liking this very much. It's a bit like my shed at home bit no moon and stars. The bluish colour stands well here amongst that lovely rich green foliage. I like the way the sunlight is striking through the gaps and highlighting the leaves. Overall excellent focus and composition.

Quite a nice and interesting shot of old time living posted here! I reckon it served as the smallest room in the house? Your fine and off-centre composition grants us a good look at it. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Old dilapidated wooden structure offer great photo opportunity. You have fully justified it in this shot! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Pat a beautiful & interesting picture of this little wooden outhouse bathed in dappled sunlight the moon & a star carved in the door framed by the trees & bushes behind it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The dappled sunlight in this image is just beautiful. It looks like miniature diamond sparkles behind this outhouse. Surrounded by all the greenery this looks rather charming! Beautifully taken image with a perfect blend of light and shadow!

The Alaska family I have been watching on tv have just built a new one. He said about every five years. When we were at Refugee camp there were two toilets in the middle of the camp /maybe 300 nissen huts/ I still have a fear of snakes sliding out of the toilets, even with my modern one here from it. I found an interesting fact, in hot countries like Africa, excrement dries into dust quite quickly if left, but in our northern countries they stay damp and in situ. My Asian-Uganadan friends ./they fled to England under Idi Amin but many have returned to their old homes there/ told me that they used Africans to go round at night with a wagon to collect all the excrement from the Asians. I wonder where the African workers tipped it afterwards, if it anyway dries out to dust so quickly there?

Thank you so much! Here from what I understand it was buried in a deep hole ,and now there are holding tanks that collect the waste.

in the covert trials going on over UK at the moment paid for by Kissinger, they had a farmer slip into the holding tank of animal wastes to see if he could survive. He drowned in it- but they also had a steelworker slip into the furnace at the Steelworks. USA Human Research said most of the tests are ridiculous and have anyway already been tried over there in one form or another. I absolutely agree. I feel they are all pure sadism, and that includes everything they do, including using my family as models and the murders of family members, ie cousin in Australia, research doctor, we had her plane crash /they do lots of those/ and crushed under the plane wreckage on her way to a new job in Canada over Iceland, as if Renate starts telling her, she will guess what it is all about immediately. Most people in UK are very smug about how ''good'' we are and have no idea of what goes on underneath in this country. Makes the yanks look like flying angels. All part of being the best /diplomats'/liars in the world.
