No 6 stars left so I owe you one. If I may, I'd like to buddy up with you so I can continue my vicarious journey to all the wonderful places you sit. This is a great and different angle of the canal, houses and boats that is refreshing and more intimate than one usually sees. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your great photos.

From the capstan stakes for the canal boats, in the foreground, to the stone Rialto Bridge,in the background, one has the sense of being on the canal, itself, with buildings, side to side;and, also, behind the bridge.Your depth perception,in this,is quite good.
Cordially,

A fine looking cityscape shot of this famous, fine, old city posted here. Your nice and traditional composition offers us an enjoyable view of it. Would like to get there one day, as most of my family have already been! Nicely done!

A beautiful shot of this iconic Venice scene. I like the low angle that includes the gondola in the foreground. Very nice composition and fine detail in the architecture.

Classic image of Venice. Nicely taken to include many of the symbols of the city. Good composition, nice perspective, good color, nice sky. Well seen and taken. Thank you for sharing.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Rialto Bridge seen through the Gondolas & their mooring posts. The colourful buildings on either side of the canal framing the bridge. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Right fred, while you do give a long description of this bridge and telling us its history, feel this slightly lets down that description.
am saying this because the bridge is not the main focal point in this, and having taken photos of this bridge I know there are better viewpoints in which to take it,not being critical just mearly pointing out a fact, did you get other photos from different viewpoints...Brian
