Well captured with sharp focus and details. The bird stands out nicely against the blue sky. Good color in the wing shoulders. Good catch light in the eye. Well sen.

Lovely capture of this beautiful red-winged Blackbird, Grace, perched on the plant. I like the uncluttered background which focuses attention on the bird. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image. Lovely composition and thank you for the interesting notes with this. Suzanne

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this male Red-winged Blackbird his red & gold epaulets glowing in the sunshine as he surveys what is going on below his perch. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Another impressive presentation of a black bird this time against a blue background!. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

For me,your red-winged blackbird is "The Thinker." Latched and locked onto this yellow-green budding shoot, with his handsome reddish-orange wing, against his ebony body;and, too, the muted blue sky behind him,the better to contrast his colors,he is quite the contemplative blackbird.
Happy Memorial Day
Weekend,
Joanna

SENSORY OVERLOAD ALERT LEVEL 10 !!! Do you ever sleep E. Vibrant colors with sharp contrast and crisp details presented in typical Envision Audobon style. You done a great job of capturing the avian essence of this flower of the sky.

A nice looking shot. The colors are great and it is good that you got a catchlight in the eye. The composition is excellent and the details are well shown.

Wow Grace this is another winner for me I can only give 5!
Fabulous composition, that blue sky background is perfect that really shows off the forms and shapes of the bird and I like the idea of it looking downward as if its doing a balancing act on that rather flimsy looking stork!
