As a caricature this is a nice painting. I swear I see a dog or dragons head in the gray cloud to the upper left of the woman's shoulder. It's nice that they're leaning their heads toward each other. I think you accomplished your goal Very nice

Aha yes I saw it too. You are the first to mention it. It just appeared after photocopying the original which was half pencil half paint at that time. I couldn't remove it without messing it up. I hope to post the customers painting which is full length and now has a charcoal loose painted background. Thank you so much for reviewing it is much appreciated.

Lol no they arnt clouds, not meant to be there. In my notes I mentioned I photocopied the original before it was completed and repainted the photocopy which this is. Those black swirls just appeared. The area surrounding the guys on the original was plain white untouched. If you look closely at the swirls I swear I can se a dragon face such is art! The real thing that the customer got has now a washed charcoal background very loosely brushed. I hope to post it one day it's more than head and shoulders. Thanks for reviewing I appreciate your comments.

Hi nice to meet you. I havent come across you before, I will have been a member for 1 year come July, so thank you, your welcome is appreciated. Thank you for reviewing and the correction, I do quite a lot of caricatures and always seem to spell that word wrong. The photos were 4, one of each person individually and then two of them in this type of pose. The painting they got is full length almost and I forgot to photo it for records. If I get a copy I intend to post it along with a

Hi Brenda, I think that this caricature of this couple is adorable, I love the way their heads are tilted toward each other, and the expressions on their faces, he wears a hat that says King , she wears her hair pulled back off of her face, she wears glasses that are very well rendered, she wears a jacket over a shirt, he wears a baseball style pullover, this is very well created and with great colors too! I am positive this couple will treasure this forever! Well presented and I like the bright yellow frame!

Thank you Sange for your review. I had a small one done by a famous cartoonist when I was 6 and still have it. My husband has one when he was 23 done in Spain hanging in our bedroom.

Ours was just St done on sheet paper in charcoal. My mom had them professionally framed in the 70's. I kept them when I moved to Florida.
They are special to me since my brother is the bestest friend I have on Earth.
