Its another WOW from me. The pinks and blues just vibe here. Its an interesting scape as the mountains almost look like clouds. Normally I am on the move and do a lot of reviewing on my mobile but today I have my laptop out and with the bigger screen I can really appreciate this photograph. The composition is well thought out. I like the tallness of the mountains left with that light flash of sky then to the right above the water is the dark tree line and there above that, is another flash of light sky giving a great balance to the whole. The water reflections have a curious shape captured from the shadow of the mountains. A beautiful area you have access to.

A wonderful picture of Jim Lake at sunset in Autumn the sunlight golden rays glowing through the gap in the pearl grey clouds floating over & skimming the snow capped mountain peaks. These beautiful colours reflected onto the surface of the glistening lake waters. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

With the stress of everyday life, and the chaos of the world, it is nice to sometimes just have some peace and serenity, and that is exactly what this gorgeous photograph brings me. The colors of the sunset are breathtaking and I love how the beauty of the sky reflects so beautifully on the water. Beautiful colors on this one, Pat. The colorful reflection in the water is so lovely. I like that you didn't do a 50/50 split at the horizon. Having more colorful water in the foreground is a beautiful choice. Very nice!

This is some grand color. Alaska is a beautiful state. The reflection on the water has great natural looking colors and the motion of the ripples show up well.

Apparently there are many lakes in Matanuska Valley and all of them seem beautiful. This landscape is impressive. I like your POV especially. The sky and the reflections are stunning. The photo has exquisite depth. The mountains and trees in the background emphasize sky and reflection. The photo is excellently balanced and framed. All the colors look realistic.
