This is a fine shot of the handsome fella! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Quite an interesting nature photo posted here! Wonder where in the world you took it? Your nice image benefits from having a good and classical composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Nicely taken!

Well Chuck, let me be the one to tell you what you found here. This is not a Salamander.
At first glance salamanders appear to be a type of lizard, but they are amphibians. Lizards are reptiles. The main differences between reptiles and amphibians are that reptiles are covered in dry scales or scutes, while amphibians have moist skins and short rounded out snouts.
What you have here is an Italian Wall Lizard. Look it up and you will see. ;)
Nice focus, fine exposure, great eye clarity and fine details.
Great capture of a Lizard I have never seen in person....yet;)

Thanks. So it ain't a salamander?

I think it's a Reptile,Chuck!
( I'm not totally sure but it's skin looks too dry and it's toes look too long for it to be an Amphibian! : ) )

Nice capture of the lizard, still I would prefer to see the lizard better and the bright wall less
nice focus and colors
thanks for sharing

Of course we don't have these little lizards here in Ak,so it's interesting to see this one and his shadow on the wall, you have photographed it well with good focus, the image is clear and shows good detail . Well composed and presented!

A very nice shot. I like the way the crevice leaves him half in sunlight and half in shadow. A well composed shot with nice color and good detail in the lizard.
