I like the sharp clarity of the flowers and how well the centers and the pollen stand out. Tulips, like lilacs just don't last long enough! I think you do a nice job capturing their beauty.

Beautiful image in your unique style, Annie. Lovely close up of these gorgeous Tulips, almost gone but still very beautiful. I love what you've done with this to make this image. I like that you can see right into the centre of the flowers. Very imaginative composition. Suzanne

I love how the inside of them have painted like stars. They are my favorite of all the tulips because not that star.
As usual your use of natural light is magical.
No one here has your style when it comes to flowers.
Love the colors and zoom effect used on the background.
Well done Cara.
Hope you enjoy your trip to Wales... Remember to get a stone for your Sunshine!!
Don't have one from Wales!!
;)

What a fantastic and interesting photo of these 2 tulips! I love what you did with the double merging as it makes 2 rather usual tulips is a drama of color and some eye candy. Remarkably beautiful.

But they are still beautiful, even in their last days! Very fitting tribute to these two tulips, excellent focus and color saturation,i like the pollen grains dusting the inside petals of the black one. Your enhancements makes this even more enjoyable to view!

Annie,
A beautiful picture of the black & red Tulips their hearts bathed in sunshine the colours like sunbeams radiating out from the flowers into the blurred background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques & sharp focus.

Really a beautiful ending to this trilogy of tulips! I just love how the centers of each one look as if light is coming from them.
Really nice effects add to this keen brightness! Beautiful eggplant colors and fiery reds!
Most interesting angle!
As usual, very very nice!

Thank you Brian, and I am out of the house when I take these. I am in the garden. LOL Soon I will go further. Going to Wales on Friday for a Canal holiday, and then it will be a little more than just photos of flowers.

your welcome annie, take your brolly then as it tends to rain a lot in wales, where abouts in wales might be able to recommend places.

I am already back, but the trip was already set. We rented a narrow boat staring from Crickhowell ending in Brecon. You are right about the rain, but we also had a lot of good weather, and we had all brought water proof clothes. Fantastic trip. I was really impressed by the vegetation along the canal.
