How wonderful is this image of a mother heron tending to her nest. It is so clear, the clarity is perfect. Lighting shows the details of the bird's feathers and face superbly. An incredible capture and a pleasure to view!

Would have been a good one for the heron contest, its a good photo and at first I thought that you cropped to tight, but as its about the heron taking care of her eggs think that's a minor point, good one...Brian

This is a very beautiful capture and I am asking myself how you got into this position to be able to look into the nest of this blue Heron
excellent frame choice that drives the focus perfectly on your topic - a ice and story telling picture, clear and sharp, with excellent genuine contrast, lighting and color saturation
A very lovely and well presented picture

I had the blessings and privelage to see this many times over 15 yrs. I hope all three make it, be prepared that only two or on may survived. I only saw three make it once.
You have superb focus, eye clarity, and fine true and natural colors.
Fine bird Photography Barbara.

A beautiful blue-gray Heron, with a reddish-brown gem of an eye, tending to her Robin's blue colored eggs. What a lovely nest that she has made. The green leaves in the forefront contrast well with the other colors.
Cordially,
