I have not seen tri-colored heron eggs before. The color is so pretty and you got such a clear shot of them. I like how mama is arranging things near the eggs with her bill. This is a great capture and your exposure, clarity and dof are excellent.

Incredible focus! Even the eye is in spectacular focus and the feathers....wow! You've captured a wonderful shot of a bird tending its precious blue eggs with a good glimpse of its nest. Very, very nice!

This is a really great photograph! The image is very eye catching. The details in the feathers as well as the red eye are really nice and definitely add to the initial impact. The soft color in the eggs adds a very nice touch. Overall a really great photograph.

Very nice shot of the mother tending the nest with the eggs visible. Good sharp focus makes the details on the bird and the nest very visible. I probably would have preferred seeing the full bird in the shot, but that isn't necessary. Good color (didn't know they had blue eggs). Nice focus on the eye. Good environmental shot. Well done.

oooh!!! what a wonderful picture!!! momma is simply beautiful!! her gray and white markings are amazing.. the eggs are baby blue!! and at the bottom it looks as tho an egg hatched!!! amazing the details you were able to capture!! you have a great eye!!!
