Nice picture. Clarity and lighting are great and on point. I've heard of this type of dancing before but never seen a live performance of it. I'm sure it was a fabulous show. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing

Nice capture of the dancing girls, but the violet background and the huge white spot on the bottom right distracts and takes form the initial impact

Bollywood is very big over here. My dearest friend, a Pakistani lady, had 7 daughters, and I loved staying with them, /London 9 yrs I lived there/ Of an evening the girls would say: mum, kebabs and a film. Mum always agreed and I settled for the night with the girls, to watch another amazing, alarming Bollywood Indian film. The stories were, well just fantastic!. How I miss not being near my dear sister Nasreen and her girls now. Here there are nothing but Slovaks who do not watch Bollywood films, they spend their days thieving. Those films were endless, I alone saw dozens of them, literally dozens and dozens. Exciting fantasy. I got to know India from them /in a way/ before I ever travelled there!

INDIANS ARE CRAZY ABOUT FILMS NO MATTER TO WHICH STRATA OF SOCIETY THEY BELONG TO. IT IS AN ADDICTION THAT GIVES US A HIGH! IN FACT THAT IS THE ONLY ENTERTAINEMT FOR POOR PEOPLE. THAT IS THE REASON THE INDIAN FILMS (ALL THE MAIN LANGUAGES HERE) RUN FOR NEARLY 3 HOURS AND HAVE ALL KINDS OF MUSIC, DANCING AND EMOTIONS!

too true, also in China, they are very poor in villages and don't have tv's but they do have bright weather, even when cold /the chinese do not seem to notice cold and do everything outside but in thick padded jackets/ so at the kids park at the back of my College, at nights they put up a huge white sheet on a large wall from a building backing on, and everyone came and sat in the kids swings etc and benches, and floor too and watched for hours, me too! after having a meal of rice on the same road, if you ordered any food, you got free green tea for as long as you stayed- I loved my nights there under star lit skies. Here I never, ever go out. Stabbing at the end of my street again last week. couple of weeks ago, african girl from Togo living here came for her tuition, her brother had been stabbed in the arm. Mum has warned them to be careful, so when Syrian and Yemeni boys began to shout, hey, he ignored them. He was lucky it was his arm. Arabs have a propensity for knives! Can't tell you how many stabbings we have had round my home alone and as for shootings....but I do really miss those crazy Bollywood films. I wonder what kind of impression they leave in the minds of your uneducated, as some of them might give off really bad messages to them!! where as we just laugh.

The colors are well rendered and the lighting is spot on. It is often difficult to get a stage shot that is not overly saturated or washed out.

Your niece is just beautiful ! Nice stop of the action as you froze these beautiful dancers in position ! Well this is certainly very colorful. The girls look like they are really having fun. Considering the camera you used it's very nice. Yes I am very familiar with Bollywood style and it always looks like fun. Thanks for sharing
