Is this a red shouldered hawk? It is very nice looking and the image is beautiful. Excellent composition with fine detail in the feathers and great colors.

I beautiful side profile view of this hawk! Such a gorgeous bird of prey! Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones and variations of tone are natural,I see good detail over every visible part of this hawk, including that beautiful clear eye! Well composed and presented!

Wow. This one has everything going for it BFF.
The sharp focus and wonderfully rendered colors are enhanced by the tight crop..
Position in the frame is perfect as the bird enters from the lower right and leads the eye to "eye" with just enough sparkle to add drama to the bird.
