I think panoramic is great but I am really struggling to see clarity in the boats? It could just be the file size. I would give this a 6 if it were easier to see. The blue sky and water are phenomenal otherwise!

Nice shot in this panoramic view of the boats passing by.
Great colors with good sharp focus and details. Excellent center of interest and story telling ability. The lighting and exposure are point on. Very nice techniques and technical excellence.

Have seen a documentary on venice and it featured this festival and it looked truly awesome and would love to go there when its on,however the panoramic effect although cramming a lot in just does not show how awesome this event is,maybe another viewpoint would have been better...Brian

A fine shot shows the boats in great detail. The panoramic presentation is very good but it would be nice if this site showed it a little larger. A well cropped image with gorgeous colors.

Very nice image of the festival and the waters around Venice. I like the pano shot because you get a sense of the expanse and the number of people ad boats involved. The trade off is that you lose some of the details in the individual craft. Nice use of the city as a background. Good focus and color. Well done.

however the pano cropping doesn't affect the size and details
