First of all, I would like to say I appreciate the subject of your painting. Although I am a Christian, not Jewish, I have a great appreciation of Jewish traditions. I really appreciate the faithfulness of the Jewish people to carry on their traditions in the face of hardship and persecution and their faithfulness to bring the word of God to the world. For a while I was attending a Messianic Jewish congregation to learn more about Jewish traditions. I joined the dance troup there, which I absolutely loved. The dance is a wonderful way to celebrate and express our joy in God and his word, and is, for the most part, sadly missing in Christian churches today. Anyway, I think this painting expresses perfectly an expression of joy we can have in the Torah, God's Word. I like the bright colors. The somewhat abstract look of the painting is perfect for conveying the freedom of expression these people seem to be having. Good job!

Thanks for sharing your story. It's a shame that people can't just get along. Growing up there were three of us who hung around together, a Jewish girl and a Catholic girl and me. Your painting is very colorful and the proportions are very nice. You put in a lot of detail Such as the beards and the hair on the man in the leaves in the trees and branches. Very nice

I like the expression of the traditional art about the Traditional Jew's or better yet Orthodox Jew's. They do look like they are having a good time
about the Torah. I love the characters that are with or without shoes, and the beards.
Parts of the expression art could be more dimensional. Also, the colour scheme of the Torah is flaming.
