This is a gorgeous portrait. The Waxwing is crisp focused. The colors are exquisitely realistic. The sky emphasizes the bird perfectly. The composition is balanced. The bird is well placed into the frame right of center. Its position on the branch is eye pleasing.

Very similar to the Bohemian Waxwings we have here during winter, he is beautiful and I love his sleek feathers and that crest on his crown, well placed in the frame on the Branch, well focused, nice clear image , exposure is good , colors and tones appear natural.i love the yellow! Well composed and presented!

Very similar to the Bohemian Waxwings we have here during winter, he is beautiful and I love his sleek feathers and that crest on his crown, well placed in the frame on the Branch, well focused, nice clear image , exposure is good , colors and tones appear natural.i love the yellow! Well composed and presented!

What a little beauty and stunner Grace, I am a little jealous though I have always wanted to get a waxwing and low and behold you vome up with one! Wonderful is all that I can really say that blue sky is perfect to show off those lovely colours the detail is also perfect as is that catch light in the eye!
