This is such a clever concept. I love the avocado center on the sun and the avocado couple sunning themselves on the beach. You should add the Peace, Love, and Avocado symbol that they use for this festival and see whether they would buy the rights to print and sell it for next year's festival.

Thank you so much for your kind review, Steve. Several artists submitted art for posters for the festival, but my friend Topaz, who is actually submitting it down in Carpinteria, a town on the coat just above Malibu, (I live just above San Francisco in Northern California,) says she will know if it will be selected in the next few days. If it is we get 500 dollars plus free cruises and all kinds of perks. She is giving me 300 and she will keep $200 if it is selected. The concept of two strolling avos with an umbrella was hers, upon which I embellished and built a design. We will see. If it is selected, I will let you know! Thanks again. Hi Daphne, this is a super cute poster to advertise the 33 rd annual California Avocado Festival! Very well created avocados under the yellow umbrella , the bright sun behind an avocado that has been opened the beach sand and blue sky with the puffy white clouds ,are well shown and I like the pebble and shell too! Well created , arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

really dynamic, vital poster with such a good message; concerning this wonderful super-food. really lovely, natural colours. inviting pastel shades and a very happy, feel-good vibe to the whole structure of the image. the characters are so lifelike the center of the nut, inside the fruit is delightful.

Yes seems like sort of a borderline miracle that, at the last minute I stayed. How warm does it get in England in summer these days -- summer has sprung here and it is 93 degrees indoors with fan and small air conditioner at max -- hard to work on the laptop in this heat but it isn't smoking yet. The cat is about passed out -- he got heat stroke -- actually they both did in 2016 when it went up to 103 inside. I give water with ice cubes, and am trimming off Firefly's long hair with shears but the wants to participate and play with them so it is difficult. I have a big pile of "cat wool" heaped up beside him! This weather can last till November -- pfah!! V

Firefly is enjoying his ice-cubes! I am certainly glad I have those for him. He is Siberian Forest Cat type -- like your brother's husky in Thailand, not bred for hot weather!!
