Susan if I were you I would edit your name out real quick before anyone else sees it. Blind contest..hint hint..don't want to see you get booted out of the contest.. wink. Interesting capture. The angle of this wind blown flower is good. The clarity is good. The Capture of the light is good. The image is balanced eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

    Mark,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Red Poppy.
It's NOT a contest entry...I seldom enter any contests only the free ones & not those that are blind. I've never got more than 3 votes so don't see the point. I know myself & from my reviews if the picture is any good. My camera is ONLY a compact & I take 90% of my picture on Auto settings IE. I'm not professional & truthfully don't care... I enjoy your pictures.

Swear when I first pulled this up to review your name wasn't there...I saw it under artist notes and assume you were in a blind contest..now the name is popping up.. sorry about the misunderstanding

Hope that Michael Gove does not see this photo! It's a lovely nature shot that you have posted here! Your fine, full and central composition offers us a very enjoyable look at your beautiful bloom. Like the detail in the petals. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

    Nik,
Methinks Michael Gove is too much involved the
Leadership contest to have time to collect the seeds from this Poppy... didn't he snort Cocaine not Heroin? Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Red Opium Poppy.

This movie star is peeking out from behind her hat brim. Very nice shot of the red poppy. You have captured the ruffled shape and color of the poppy well. i wish the center was a little more visible. Good background to show the flower off.

    Charles,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this windblown Red Opium Poppy. The breeze blew the petals over the centre as I clicked.

Very good close up of this lovely Poppy, Susan, before the wind and rain. I like the angle you used for this. The petals look as if they're made of crepe paper. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne
