Bravo! Dying to know in what state you photographed this. I have never seen a green heron. All features of your photo are superb---composition colors, focus, and cropping. Somebody ought to pay you for this photo!

Oh my goodness this is the BEST photo I have seen so far! Perfect timing (and great skills I'm certain) in catching this Heron with his catch! The action, the colors, the clarity, the subject... all outstanding! Great, great photo!

Perfect timing to capture this one, nice stop of the action, beautiful lifted wings position of the bird, nice detail is easily seen in both the bird and the tiny fish! Well focused, clear image , nice composition , well presented! Beautiful work!

Really cool! I do feel slightly bad for the little fish (haha) but it's awesome to see this great bird in action. It's amazing how he can snag the fish right through all the lily pads!

You get my last 6 as this is spectacular in landing and a super stop action shot
excellent frame - super close up, clear and sharp, super contrast and lighting, super focus point and use of space,
I find this capture is really spot on in timing and this would have been a winner shot in lift up and landing for sure, great one

A great stop action shot showing sharply focused facial features and smooth plumage textures.
Verdant overtone!
Monochromatic color scheme.
Gorgeous illumination.
The fish on its beak & the splash add pizzazz to this wildlife capture!
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

A fine shot but not much of a fish. Maybe it is just a snack. A very nicely composed image with fine detail in the heron and beautiful colors.
