She is a lovely lady. You have captured nice detail. The bird is in good focus. Body and plumage are pin-sharp. The feathers show markings and colors well. The bird stands nicely out from the background. The reflections are intriguing. The photo is also balanced and well framed.

A very nice nature photo posted here! Your fine and almost central composition provides us with a nice look at your duck. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

Lovely swimming duck. Not one I see here so it is new to me. Nice focus that shows off its patterns and look well. Interesting markings. Good color. Nice reflections. Well seen.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this beautiful lady Widgeon floating on the glass like water on which her reflection is seen. The soft colours of her plumage standing out clearly from the background.

Superb nature shot and study Pat, the thing that really makes this a notch above the rest is the fact that you have got the lens down to the widgeon eye line this also brings out the detail more as well as those colours! this image easily tells me that you are no fool on how to take nature photos for this is evidence of that!

Cool,Pat!
Whenever I hear that name I immediately think of the 'Widgeon' float plane produced by Grumman back in the late nineteen thirties and the early years of the Second World War for the U.S. Navy!
I guess that's just what my mind is attracted to,or something!
Your photo of this aquatic bird looks Great,my friend! : : )

A beautiful shot that shows both the colors and the detail in the feathers very well. The tight cropping is attractive and the bit of a reflection is great.

The copperish and blue colors on the feathers give a nice amount of detail to the image. I also like the gray in the water, it provides a nice reflection for the widgeon and adds to the initial impact. Overall I think this is a great image!
