I almost drowned in a similarly named lake here in upstate New York many years ago,Pat,but that dreary story is a tale for another day!
This picture of the Alaskan 'Summit Lake' is simply Outstanding and none of my babbling is necessary to explain why!

Wow, this is another nice eye pleasing photograph Pat. What really got my attention we're the shape and the color of the clouds! The darker blue contrasting with the white works really well. The water and the mountains add a nice touch :) this one is really pretty.

Another absolutely gorgeous looking landscape and location from you Pat, I love how you have used that lone tree on the right this make a great stop for the sky and water because the lighter parts of them hit that silhouetted tree, love that diagonal pattern sky this is echoed by those peaks these to lead you towards that tree and then back into the center of the main image again! and everything is been reflected with in the water!¬
