oh yes..this brings back memories..me out in the water like this looking down at the water and thinking.."i think this is the area where she threw my keys!"..wink..lol..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bird in the water with reflection is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Hi Eileen, Love your end of the day shot. The rings of water around the heron have a nice calm feel to them. I can just picture the heron slowly walking across the river or lake. Love the pose and the terrific reflection in the water. Super job with lighting and focus! :o) Helvi

Wow! This is so beautiful! Aside from this just being a gorgeous bird on its own, the water also acts like a mirror and shows every detail of the reflection! Those ripples in the water are great, too!

Ah. Now this is a great shot BFF. Great clarity all around. The reflection and the ripples add such a nice artistic flavor to the scene. I think this is a great entry for the contest.
Since you are my BFF I hope I can mention one thing about this image:
I know it is my preference to always give just a touch of Vibrancy/Saturation to a scene. It is a subtly thing that the viewer is not consciously aware of yet is drawn in by the touch of warmth that it provides.
This has an overall gray tone, and maybe that is the best for the subjects. I just wonder what just a smidgeon of subconscious Vibrancy/saturation or something would do?
Just a thought BFF. I am going to make a sign to wear around my neck. It will say "I had a stroke. Not Responsible". I think that will work in most circumstances.
So always take my thoughts with that in mind.
